Eli learned 3 new words the other day. It is all related to this show that he loves to watch on PBS called Word World. We currently have 32 of the episodes saved on our DVR.
There is an episode on there that's called Bit by Bit. It has an elephant, duck, and bug and they sing about breaking down big words bit by bit to spell them out easily. He loves this song. So he learned to say bit by bit. He says it over and over when he wants to hear the song. In the song, they sing about spelling banana....he can now say banana. Shoot, the third word has escaped my memory.
He is also saying T-Rex. We were at Target yesterday and every time we go into Target he asks to see the dinosaurs. So we head over to the toy aisle and he picks out the big T-rex dinosaur. I was looking at some other toys too, trying to get some ideas for his birthday and he wanted to play with this Leapfrog Laptop, really cute (*hint, hint). Anyhow, he started playing with it so I put the dinosaur back and we went over to the clothing section. Well, he'd had enough of the laptop and started asking for T-rex, dinosaur, T-rex, dinosaur. Haha, too cute! I can't wait for more words.

Favorites of a 22 month old
Eli is 22 months old already! He has learned 4 new words this week, one of which is MOMMY!! I swear it was like music to my ears to hear him finally say it. He says it so sweetly and if I'm holding him he'll say "Mommy" and then rest his head on my shoulder or put his nose to mine. The other words he started saying: baby, bubbles, and dinosaur. I have done the favorite theme before but here it is again.

Favorite Toy: He really enjoys doing puzzles, like the hard ones for 3yrs and up!
